Ugh, this day
So I got an email last night saying that the project I’m writing for is suddenly and unexpectedly under new management, so all of our jobs are kind of up in the air until the new manager figures stuff out.
Faaaaantastic.
So I’m super stressed and hoping I’ll get to keep my job, which has really been an outstanding opportunity, as well as enjoyable. And I really haven’t gotten any emotional support about it from my mom, which sucks because apparently I’m a huge baby and require that sort of thing. I think she assumes I have my shit together, which means that when I told her I might lose my job to something completely out of my control she responded with a crack about how “that’s management for you!” without really considering whether I was okay, which I wasn’t.
Aaaanyway, whine whine whine this is as close as I’ll ever get to making a personal post. I’ll probably delete it later, but I just need to participate in the time-honored tradition of throwing my feelz on the internet for a day or so.
